Hey everyone!!! How is everyone doing!!! I cant believe school has started up! Yalls summer has gone!!! While i am still in my summer. I feel like yall think there are hot and warm seasons here.... false! There are only rain and dry season!! It is always summer here!! And in cerro de pasco it is always winter!!! Hahaha
So everything is fine... Im pretty sure this will be my last full week in ambo, so that is kinda sad, but at the same time i am ready for a new area!
Last tuesday i went down to huancayo with my old comp, elder Schriener!!! And guess who we ran into!!! Elder Walker!!! My first companion when i was in cerro de pasco!! He was sooo skinny!!! I havent seen him in 8 months!!!
So that was good. The conference was good. We just talked about how to be better district leaders and when we take there numbers, and how to give meetings correctly. It was all good!!
Well have fun starting school!!!!! Love yall!!!

me in ambo!!!
hey everyone!!! So this week was kinda weird. So story time. We were going to a visit and we had to cross a bridge. So when we were crossing we saw some 11 year old kids in the river. And we were like what are they doing. They got out of the water and came to us and said hey mormons!! Have yall seen a kid in the river?? We told them no, just we say them.. apparently a kid fainted in the river just barely before we got there. and they didnt find him until 2 days later... they found his body . and those kids told everyone that we saw the kid floating away and we didnt do anything to save him. But we never even saw the kid!!! So that happened this past week, and now everyone is accusing us for killing him.
But this week should be good! We have a baptism on friday. The little kid named wilder, and we are rescuing his family this week as well!!! YAY!!!

This week has been good! I got my new companion which is kinda weird. Let me explain! Remember my old zone leader elder Chapeton? Ya he is no longer zone leader and is know my companion... but thats not all... im district leader again... so now im his leader... its kinda weird for me because he was my zone leader in pasco... but ya oh well... so far its been ok. So ya im district leader again to a district that consists of 8 missionaries. We have been working hard. So thats good. But i have one elder in my district that literally calls me everyday just to ask me if i need anything...... Its getting old... Anyways its all good, i know he wanst to help but sometimes its just like woooowwwww there hahaha.
So it sounds like the trip went ok! Congrats to jessica!! And yes mom im going to make the cake with my pension!! It is going to be awesome!!!!
We have a baptism on the 22nd so that is exciting! And more potential in the area. And yes everyone... IM STILL IN AMBO hahaha. Everyone is joking with me here saying i should just buy my house, i do feel like i have been here forever but it is because there is a reason!! I love this gospel and i love all of you guys!!
I am reading doctrine and covenats and found a new favorite in section 68, verses 3-6. Read it! Ponder it! Love it!

Hey everybody.. So last monday we never actually ended up getting to tingo maria. The road was under construction, but ya its all good. Maybe one day i will get to know the jungle!! But for now i have another transfer in ambo.. another one. .. Haha but its ok...
Elder Recalde left saturday and i am here in huanuco until wednesday. i still dont know who is my new companion, so a little nervous. but thats ok.. im scared about everything but thats just a part of it. Im gonna work hard this transfer!!!
I love my family and i hope for the best with everything, i worry about brother white and his health. he is in my prayers, and i know that he will be taken care of just like the rest of my family. I hope the best in the move with grandma.

people! My companion only has 5 days left in the mission. After that I will be
with the zone leaders until next
wednesday!!! I have the privelege to
go to Tingo maria today!!! It is the jungle. It is about two hours away from
huanuco. But my companion served there and got permission to go visit today. So
i get to go!!! Im so excited!! That is why im on early!!! I dont have much time
today for internet. only 15 min!!! So sorry if its short and if i couldnt
respond to emails well. but i will respond next week1!!!! Love yall!!!!

Hey everyone! This week, has been interesting. A little frustrating but everythink is ok. My companion only has 10 days left on his mission, and literally i have had to drag him around to go visit people, it has been hard. But ya its ok, im managing.
So last saturday we had interviews with our president. My interview was like 30 min long, i was so scared. But he told me i was growing very well and progressing as a missionary so that was satisfying to hear. We talked a lot. and i have been thinking a lot as i am reading the scriptures in doctrine and covenants, and it is interesting how i find and discover cross references to the book of mormon ( which i have read many times on my mission) and find scriptures that i dont remember that help me understand doctrines more clearly. One of those doctrines i asked my president about, or discussed about was exaltation and salvation for those who didnt act in the way they should of or didnt have time to act. It makes me happy to think about my dear friend Kody Fox.. We were best friends in 6th grade, he was a good kid, and played soccer very well. But died young due to a tragic car accident. I have thought a great deal about his situation. There is hope, there is grace... Will I be able to see him in the celestial kingdom?? He never acted, he didnt have time to have desires, but i believe there is a way. Now this is my opinion and im still not sure but in alma 29:4 it talks about how if he truly has the desires that there is a way for exaltation. Im not exactly sure, and i know he can accept the gospel in the spirit world but what does that do for his desires? Can he make it to the celestial kingdom, i know people who act and do everything right in there life but there desire is in a different way. You know my desires before was all about golf, but my desire shouldnt be focused in on that but more towards serving my heavenly father. We should but our desires and priorities in that first, at least i feel that way now.

Happy birthday to mckenna and chels!!
Let me tell ya!!!!!!! This week has been amazing!!!!! So it all
started out with last monday when we made oreo truffles for family
home evening!!! They were sooo good and my pension loved them!!!!!
Then we found some new investigators that we put with date for the
25th of july!!! Then came saturday!!! Such a beautiful day!!!!
Amazing!!!! I baptized Yordan and his cousin liz who was a baptism for
the ward. It was such a special day! I felt the spirit so much. It has
been awhile since i have been in the font. It is an experience and a
true miracle that past for yordan to get baptized. I want to thank all
of you who kept him in your prayers. After he rised out of the water
he began crying and gave me a big hug, and said thanks. It wasnt me
that made this happen. It was someone who is loving that with the
faith that we do have CAN make happen. Then sunday came..... Sunday
was a little speed bumb, as there are still many members upset with
the bishop that shared there testimonies but werent really
testimonies... I did not feel the spirit in that moment. But ya it was
ok. Percy my mission leader and his wife, my pension, are still upset
and didnt go to church. I felt sad because they are like another
family to me, i was super sad, but we went to there house and talked
to them to ask why they didnt go. They said they dont want to go if
bishop is still bishop. WE talked about a lot of things that needed to
be said. I basically told them they are my family while im here in
ambo and i need to see them in the church. They have a daughter named
luane and she will be 1 in august! (kinda like dallin and samuel eh?)
So i told my pension that when I see them in church that they make me
happy when i see them. Percy asked me if there wasnt another way to go
to church, this is what came to me... that when the father sent his
son to sacrifice his body, that there wasnt any other way to change
the plan. He understood me and it was just a very spiritual time, i
dont know how to express it. SO ya that was my amazing week!!!!
And i got my package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
